Canoli (né Alex Kass) strives to find a surprising yet fitting balance between saxophones, effects pedals, and polyglottal rap. Based in Hastings-on-Hudson (Southern Upstate NY), he experiments with signal flows, paroles, and different reed strengths, while attempting to avoid genres and constraints of self-categorization.

Canoli also plays sax in local funk/soul band Slingshots and forms part of the duo AA BOND. You may have seen him performing around the Rivertowns in Westchester, NY, or perhaps you haven't.
